School and college students who have chosen the University of Sunderland as their first choice could take their next step towards higher education and spend a week on campus between Monday, June 30 and Friday, July 4 attending lectures and preparing for student life. By participating students will earn 20 tariff points to go towards their application at the University. There will also be opportunities to stay in halls of residence. Over the five days students will be immersed in university life and receive support from student ambassadors. Lecturers will give seminars in their chosen subject area, there will be careers and employability workshops and much more, all free of charge. Current University of Sunderland students will also be on hand for advice and will help deliver sessions and organise social activities.
