Course Content

Teaching and Assessment

Teaching methods include lectures, seminars, and smaller group workshops through interaction with the academic staffs and other students. The delivery methodology of the Top-up degree modules has been adapted to enhance the learning experience of the students.

You will attend on a regular basis for face-to-face sessions delivered by academic staff to support and contextualise learning materials. The sessions also include group-based activities, tutorials and assessment preparation workshops.

You will be developed as independent learners and will be encouraged to take responsibility for their own learning. The style of learning will be a blend of activity-based as well as teaching based. Activities within the learning materials will require students to analyse course ideas and to develop deeper understanding of the units through a variety of knowledge and skills based tasks.

The assessment encompasses a blend of activities for formative and summative assessment designed to test learning outcomes of the Programme. Assessment methods include written exams, case studies, assignments, and reports.

Certification

Upon the completion of this programme, student will be awarded with the BA (Hons) Business Management from the University of Sunderland, UK.
