Drama - Combined Subjects (Major, Dual and Minor) - BA/BSc (Hons)

UCAS Code: W4

Duration: 3 or 4 years

By studying drama you will open up opportunities to seek work as an actor or performer. Drama is also an excellent way to develop skills in communication and presentation that are valuable in many fields of employment.

A popular combination is drama and education. This will allow you to pursue your passion for drama while simultaneously developing your capacity to share that passion with others.

Other popular combinations include drama and dance, or drama and music. By bringing together two creative arts subjects, you can increase the range of roles that you will be able to fulfil.

You can combine drama with any other subject in the Combined Subjects programme. You can choose to spend a third, half, or two thirds of your study time on drama.

At various points during the course there will be opportunities to work with professional actors and touring theatre companies. You can also engage in community projects and evening classes.

Our tutors provide a very supportive learning environment. Around 9 out of 10 students on our drama courses believe that staff are good at explaining things, according to the National Student Survey.
