UCAS Code: CID479 Duration: 3 years The programme is designed to allow people in work the opportunity to gain a full honours degree through three years of part-time study. Work-based tasks develop degree-level skills and knowledge in management. The course draws on the expertise of the Sunderland Business School, which is ranked no.1 in the North East according to The Guardian University Guide 2012. The Guide also ranks us no.1 in the region for student satisfaction with teaching of business and management. It’s essential that your employer supports your participation in this course. You will need to be working on real-world projects that allow you to earn credits towards your degree and build up a portfolio of achievement. You will come to the University for around one Saturday or Thursday a month for a workshop. This is an opportunity for intensive teaching input to supplement the on-going contact and mentoring about your workplace tasks. The workshop format makes it easier to plan for attendance and fit the course into your lifestyle.
