The course provides a solid grounding in psychology and the study skills needed to tackle a degree. It covers Psychology Research and Topics in Psychology.

If you have attempted an A Level (or equivalent) but not succeeded, this course offers an alternative route onto Psychology.

The first year of the course is based at Sunderland College. You will also visit the University of Sunderland on a number of occasions in order to participate in seminars. After successfully completing the first year of the course you will progress onto year 1 of Psychology at the University of Sunderland.
